We proudly adhere to the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) guidelines and Code of Conduct, and we expect all members of our community to do the same.

SBRD does not tolerate discrimination, harassment, or exclusion of any kind. Discrimination on the basis of gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, race, color, ethnicity, national origin, age, disability, body size, religion, socioeconomic status, or any other protected characteristic is strictly prohibited.

This policy applies to all league activities, including but not limited to:

  • Practices and games

  • Meetings, events, and travel

  • Online spaces, including social media and digital communication

  • Interactions with other leagues, officials, and the public

Harassment, bullying, intimidation, or retaliation—whether verbal, physical, or written—will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

Enforcement and Accountability

All SBRD members, volunteers, and affiliates are expected to uphold this policy and the WFTDA Code of Conduct. Violations may result in disciplinary action, up to and including suspension or removal from the league, in accordance with league policies and WFTDA guidelines.

Reporting Concerns

SBRD encourages anyone who experiences or witnesses discrimination or harassment to report it through established league channels. Reports will be taken seriously and handled promptly, respectfully, and as confidentially as possible.

South Bend Roller Derby is dedicated to fostering a community rooted in equity, respect, and accountability, both on and off the track.
